Lovely Vintage 1940s Simplicity Pattern for a Wrap-Around House Dress or House Coat, Pattern # 2842.

Wrap-Around House Dress and Housecoat:
A shoulder yoke releases soft fullness in the bodice front. The yoke and sleeves are ct in one. The flared skirt is cut in four sections and features a patch pocket in front. A self-belt ties around the waist and forms a bow at the left side. Style 1 is full length, Style 2 is street length.

Pattern appears to be uncut and factory folded with instructions - some discoloration/staining from a transfered stain from the back of the envelope - does not look like it will affect use. The envelope shows yellowing, creasing and edgewear, with a moisture/spill stain on the top back, partial splits at somewhat brittle top edge with a tear extending into top front, tear at top left corner, and tiny to small stress tears at other edges/corners; drop stain at bottom right front.
